About the Practice
A friendly, forward-thinking small animal practice in Kent is looking to welcome a compassionate Veterinary Surgeon to its growing team.
This well-established practice has built a loyal client base by delivering exceptional patient care in a warm, welcoming environment where both pets and their owners come first. Led by an experienced Veterinary Surgeon and Registered Veterinary Nurse, the practice prides itself on fostering a supportive culture where every team member is valued.
You'll be joining an experienced and collaborative team of Veterinary Surgeons, Registered Veterinary Nurses, support staff and receptionists who work together to provide outstanding clinical care while maintaining an enjoyable and positive working environment.
The practice is equipped with modern facilities including:
Digital radiography
In-house laboratory
Ultrasound
Dental radiography (coming soon)
A varied surgical caseload, including orthopaedic procedures
The Role
This is an excellent opportunity for a Veterinary Surgeon looking to join a supportive practice that genuinely encourages collaboration, clinical development and work-life balance.
You'll enjoy a varied caseload covering consultations, medicine and surgery while working alongside an experienced team that values continuous learning and high clinical standards.
Flexible working patterns are available, with both full-time and part-time applications welcomed. School-hour working can also be considered for the right candidate.
The role includes participation in a 1 in 3 Saturday rota (9:00am–6:00pm) with no out-of-hours responsibilities.
About You
The successful candidate will:
Have at least two years' experience in small animal practice
Be confident with routine surgery and medical work-ups
Be a compassionate and approachable team player
Communicate effectively with clients and colleagues
Be enthusiastic about delivering exceptional patient care
Enjoy working collaboratively while continuing to develop clinically
Remain calm and adaptable in a busy practice environment
