Are you passionate about delivering outstanding care and keeping patients happy and healthy? My client is looking for a dedicated Veterinary Surgeon to join their friendly, supportive and highly skilled team in Greater Manchester.
This is a fantastic opportunity to become part of a well-established practice with a strong focus on patient care, clinical excellence and team wellbeing. The team currently consists of 5 vets, 8 RVNs, 5 receptionists and 3 VCAs, all working collaboratively to provide a high standard of care.
The role offers real flexibility, with no fixed rota or set hours. My client is happy to tailor the working pattern around the successful candidate’s needs, although there is a shared Saturday rota of 1 in 5 (9am–3pm).
The practice has a busy and varied caseload, ideal for a vet who enjoys both consulting and working cases through. Consultations are scheduled for 20–30 minutes, with dedicated admin time built into each day to support a healthy work/life balance and ensure the team can leave on time.
The nursing team is particularly strong, with a wealth of experience and advanced qualifications, including advanced diplomas, anaesthesia certification, ECC expertise and a feline nursing qualification. They are highly motivated and play an integral role in delivering gold standard, evidence-based care, as well as supporting audits and protocol development.
My client is seeking a Veterinary Surgeon with solid practice experience who is confident in the consulting room, communicates effectively and thrives as part of a team. They are keen to welcome someone who is enthusiastic about contributing ideas and continuing their clinical development.
The practice supports professional growth with a generous CPD allowance and encourages vets to develop their own areas of interest and case continuity.
In return, they offer:
Competitive salary up to £65,000 (FTE, DOE)
Contributory pension scheme
Paid professional memberships
Generous CPD allowance
Access to a reward hub with high street discounts
A genuinely supportive team environment focused on wellbeing and development
