A forward-thinking veterinary team based in East Sussex is seeking an ambitious and experienced veterinary surgeon to join their friendly and supportive team. Located just a short walk from the sea, this modern, purpose-built practice offers a fantastic opportunity for a vet looking to further develop their clinical and surgical skills.
• Full-time Vet Surgeon (part-time considered)
• Salary up to £70,000
• No OOHs responsibilities!
• A weekend rota of 1 in 4
The successful candidate will be joining a highly experienced team of 5.5 vets, supported by 12 qualified nurses and a dedicated client care team of 7. This role would suit a vet with a minimum of two years' experience, strong consulting skills, and solid competency in routine surgeries.
The practice manages a diverse and interesting caseload and provides advanced services in areas such as cardiology, behaviour, keyhole surgery, and dentistry. Ongoing professional development is actively encouraged and supported, particularly in areas of special interest.
Facilities are spacious, bright, and air-conditioned, with separate areas for cats and dogs, including distinct kennels, theatres, prep rooms, and waiting areas to reduce stress for patients. The surgery is well-equipped with state-of-the-art tools, including ultrasound, digital and dental radiography, endoscopy, laparoscopy, an in-house lab, laser therapy, and acupuncture.
