    • Salary: Up to £60,000 DOE
    • Full-time and Part-time Considered

    From laparoscopic surgery and dental x-ray to an on-site CT department and referral orthopaedic service, the facilities here rival many specialist centres. The main base is set in a thriving, cat-friendly clinic, with the support of a dedicated night nurse team at the nearby accredited 24-hour hospital, ensuring seamless continuity of care.

    The team itself is one of the biggest draws — a diverse group of 24 vets, including certificate holders in Medicine, Surgery, Cardiology and Feline Medicine, with others currently studying towards their own certifications. Clinical interests span orthopaedics, ECC, exotics, dentistry, internal medicine, ultrasound, and more. The practice fosters a sociable and inclusive culture with regular team events and a strong emphasis on support and collaboration.

    Located in the beautiful Somerset and Wiltshire border region, the area offers excellent transport links to Bath, Bristol, Salisbury, and London, plus easy access to the stunning Cotswolds and South Coast — a perfect blend of professional development and quality of life.

    The successful candidate must be confident in routine consults and surgery, however support will be available for areas requiring development. You must have strong communication skills and a proactive approach to team collaboration. Plus, RCVS registration and completion of VetGDP.
