Veterinary Surgeon – Varied Caseload, Surgical Focus & 4-Day Week - Hillingdon

 Looking for a Veterinary Surgeon role that offers clinical variety, dedicated surgical time and genuine opportunities to develop?

 A full driving licence and access to a car are essential.

 You’ll join a team of around eight vets with a broad range of clinical interests and experience. You’ll benefit from a busy caseload, clinical independence and the reassurance of experienced colleagues when you need support.

There’s plenty of opportunity to develop your surgical skills, explore clinical interests, take ownership of cases and work towards a certificate with mentoring and financial support.

The practice is particularly keen to hear from vets who enjoy surgery and would welcome the opportunity to support and develop less experienced colleagues.

 The ideal candidate

We’re looking for a permanent Veterinary Surgeon with at least three years’ UK practice experience who:

• Has solid general-practice skills in medicine and surgery

• Communicates confidently with clients and colleagues

• Enjoys teamwork while being comfortable working independently

• Is keen to develop professionally and share knowledge

• Brings a positive attitude, a good sense of humour and a genuine passion for animal welfare

Salary and benefits

• Salary up to £60,000, depending on experience

• £1,500 annual CPD allowance

• Additional support towards certificate study

• Mentoring from senior vets

• VDS cover

• 28 days’ holiday, including bank holidays

• Cost-price veterinary treatment for your own pets

• Self-contained accommodation available above a branch practice, which may form part of the overall package

• No on-call commitment
