A fantastic opportunity has arisen for an experienced Veterinary Surgeon to join an established and supportive team in Weymouth.

This is a locally owned Vets for Pets practice with a strong focus on work-life balance, clinical development and a supportive team culture.

The Role

The practice is looking for an experienced vet to join their team of 5 vets. An interest in laparoscopy would be particularly welcome, with laparoscopic equipment being introduced as part of the practice's ongoing investment in its clinical facilities.

Whether you already have laparoscopic experience or would like to develop your skills in this area, there is plenty of opportunity for CPD and progression.

You will also have the opportunity to support and mentor newer members of the team, with experienced colleagues on hand to provide support in return.

The Practice

The practice has invested significantly in its facilities and equipment, including:

• Dedicated dental suite

• Upgraded imaging room

• Vetus 50 ultrasound with colour Doppler

• ECG and K-Laser

• Dedicated colleague space

• Additional consult rooms and expanded kennels

• Laparoscopic equipment coming soon

The team includes vets with over 40 years of combined experience, an Advanced Practitioner in Medicine, an experienced nursing team and a long-standing Practice Manager.

The practice is also an RCVS accredited Nurse Training Practice and places a strong emphasis on clinical standards, collaboration and continued development.
