Our client in Hertfordshire has an exciting new position for a Neurology/Rehabilitation RVN to join them on a 9 month maternity cover contract.
Job Summary
• To work as a member of the hospital clinical team and contribute to the Clinical Services Division’s plans to fulfil the College remits of clinical service, teaching, and advancement of veterinary medicine
• Participate in the on clinic rota as requested by the Head Nurse, providing the highest standards of clinical care for patients, and ensuring timely and effective communication with all colleagues working in the hospital such as nurses, patient care assistants, vets, students and clients as appropriate
• Provide excellent nursing care for patients within the Neurology ward
• Provide Physiotherapy and rehabilitation therapy under instruction using the hydrotherapy pool and underwater treadmill
• Contribute to the training and development of students on rotations, demonstrating a reasoned approach to nursing care, instruct and supervise students performing nursing tasks, providing constructive assessment and feedback to students, modelling the highest standards of professional behaviour, coupled with a compassionate and caring approach at all times
Shifts will be from either 8am-4pm or 3pm-11pm from Monday to Friday. There will be a 1:12 weekend rota.
Pay will be negotiable depending on experience.
